EASY Soiree Treats!

There's not much to say about these tasty treats other than, they are AMAZINGLY EASY to put together and everyone will love them!!! 

Raspberry Champagne Spritzer 

7 tbs Raspberry Jam (seedless is best but I couldn't find any so good luck!) 

1/2 Cup Lime Juice 

1 bottle of champagne 

1 lime for garnish 

Betty Crocker's Peppermint sugar  

Ginger Ale for those that like virgin spritzers

 
Combine jam and lime juice in small bowl. I used 7 tbsp but you can add more if you like your drinks a little sweeter.

Rim each glass with your peppermint sugar. To serve, spoon in 2 to 3tbsp of your jam mixture into your glass, add champagne, a little ginger ale, garnish with a lime wedge and your done!! For those that don't like champagne you can substitute ginger ale. They are perfect for any mixer or Christmas gathering!

Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwiches 

1 pack of lowfat (or regular) ice cream sandwiches 

10 to 15 peppermint candies 

Remaining peppermint sugar from spritzer

Small bowl or cup of water 

I purchased the ice cream sandwiches from Trader Joes and the peppermint candies from Winco

Place your peppermint candies in a ziplock back and crush with any hard tool. The bottom of a candle works great for crushing!

To prevent smudging your sandy's keep them in the plastic while your garnish. Brush water on the vanilla and sprinkle with the peppermint candies or peppermint sugar. Serve on a pretty platter and enjoy!!
